How to Make Bread Toast without a Toaster
Toasted bread is great in the morning. It makes otherwise ordinary bread tasty and it is not only easy but also fun to prepare. When I didn’t have a toaster, I enjoyed these toasted bread slices for a long time. I’d spread some margarine on the bread although they’d still be great without.
- Slices of bread
- Margarine (optional)
- Skillet/Flat frying pan
1. Place the frying pan on medium heat to warm up.
2. In the meantime spread margarine on both sides of each toast.
3. Once the skillet is warm enough, place the slices and let them cook until browned on both sides. Do not leave them on one side for long to prevent charring.
4. Remove the toast from the pan and serve with a beverage of your choice.
